Tumbler / Art Epoxy
Thank you for you interest in A Little Extra Inc. We have created a partially plant based two part art epoxy that has zero VOC's and is non toxic once cured. ALE is committed to doing their part in contributing good vibes to our environment.
ALE has been tested via art groups around the country throughout the early part of 2019 and is still ongoing. We took in hundreds of great reviews and made improvements along the way. Our product has low odor, easy mixing, great set time, superior shine, and is FDA compliant.
In previous details, 150 degrees F was mentioned as maximum operating temperate. This number was taken from standard epoxide technology specifications. This is an advanced, modified, 100% solids epoxy. After a rigorous lab testing, we found that the epoxy can withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees F*
*if product is exposed to temperatures at 300 degrees F or above for prolonged periods of time softening of materials may be experienced. Material should return to normal once Temperature drops.
All Ingredients (Including our bottles) are Made in the USA.
As posted on our bottles the full cure time is 72 hours, we have had numerous reports from customers of dry time closer to the 4-6 hour time frame, this can vary depending on local weather temperature and humidity.
As with all Epoxies, use of safety gear and precautions are recommended when handling the product. Harmful if swallowed, May Cause allergic reaction. Keep off of skin and out of eyes, Keep out of reach of children. Wear gloves and safety glasses when using, Use in well ventilated area and avoid breathing fumes.
Tips & Tricks
We tighten our caps (A Little Extra) this is done to prevent you from opening your package and getting empty bottles that leaked everywhere. We recommend using a small pair of pliers to take the caps off.
Temperature effects epoxy, we recommend using our product in 75-85 degree temperatures for best results.
Our bottles may be soaked in warm water before use to raise the product temperature prior to using this will make it easier to pour and measure.
We recommend using plastic / silicone or metal sticks to stir the product as this will cause less bubbles to be incorporated in the epoxy during the mixing process.
Please note* Bottle color may vary .
